♥ Up All Night..Again! ♥

18 months old Delisha Humayrah and 10 days old Amirul Hakeemi

Presenting the latest addition to our small family. :) Cerita dalam labor room nanti kite story-mory, kay. 

Last weekend, Delisha was admitted to the hospital due to bad colic. Suspected appendix, at first. Alhamdulillah. Colic je. Semalaman Daddy jaga. Ganti-ganti dengan Tok Ibu dan Mummy. The first day, tertonggeng-tonggeng sambil meraung-raung time sakit tu datang. The second day, dah tak sakit. The secret. Sepanjang malam yang Daddy jaga tu, Daddy dok sapu minyak telon satu badan. Siangnye tu Mummy take turn pulak jaga Delisha. Tapi sementara tunggu nak discharge tu, cobaan sungguh. Berjoget, berlari-lari dan berguling-guling dalam wad. Happy sungguh, compared to the first day yang macam separuh nyawa je tengok die sakit perut. Mummy yang baru seminggu lebih bersalin ni terpaksa juga dukung Delisha. Habis die tawaf and mop satu wad tu dengan badan die sendiri. Entah berapa kali tukar baju. Government hospital, sorang je boleh jaga patient. Kusut juga memikirkan baby Amirul kat rumah. I prepare EBM siap-siap sebelum pergi hospital. Delisha, disebabkan perut tak sihat, she rejected formula milk. Only want plain water and mummy's milk. That's why I have to direct-feed her. 

Since adik Amirul lahir ni, it's a bit challenging to breastfeed both of them. Delisha pantang nampak Mummy susukan adik. Terus die pun nak jugak. And I have to tandem nursing. The feelings -- awkward at first. Sakit pun ye jugak as the breast engorged. Alhamdulillah sampai ke hari ni, susu cukup untuk baby Amirul, untuk Delisha dan dapat jugak perah dan simpan untuk stok. Bila dah berkali-kali tandem baru rasa 'normal'. It's a challenge for me rite now to eat macam-macam in order to produce more milk. Walaupun ada perception susu itu untuk adik, tak boleh kongsi and macam-macam myths and negative perception, I tried to think positive. This is my decision, with consent from husband. I will continue bfeeding Delisha but priority of courselah untuk baby Amirul. I have to find ways to distract her each time she asking for mummy's milk. 

See..when kakak also seeks for attention. Mintak buai kaki.. Haih.. macam tak pantang je mummy awak ni Delisha.. :P
