♥ Torn Between My Babies ♥

Bila dengar kata-kata orang yang melemahkan semangat, I'm a bit emotional til I get the cure from my husband (coz he's the chicken soup for my soul) who always lift up my spirit. You know why? Bile kite duduk sorang-sorang, instead of thinking about our work and career, apa yang orang cakap pada kite setiap hari memainkan peranan. Really. Terngiang-ngiang je. Lebih-lebih lagi kalau apa yang diucapkan tu make me feel down and terrible. But I'm positive. Bile jadi macam tu, I know who is the best person I should talk to. Bile dah dapat balik semangat, baru boleh senyum :) Thank you husband.

Torn between my babies? I know I can never live without them. How do I? But I have to do this. Sorry sayang. The new house for them costs me almost rm540 ++. I'm broke oready..Kalau orang yang tak mengerti..mereka akan kata membazir, baik guna untuk kegunaan baby. Refering to my parents :P Habesla kene bebel nih kalau diorang visit I kat umah ni. Insyaallah ada rezeki di kemudian hari.. Rasanya January next year baru start shopping barang baby. Sempat lagi kumpul duit ni. Takpun tunggu jelah dividen ASB. :D


I have to, I have to..kalau dah bela binatang kena jaga elok-elok..I nak diorang doakan I..not cursing me for abandoning their needs and care. I tak pasang lagi giant cage tu. Mende alah tu gedabak dan berat..kalau I superwoman memang dah bertekad pasang sendiri. Tapi apakan daya. Tak laratttt.. Confirm nanti I nanges time letak diorang dalam little house ni. Sesekali I'll let them out and play. I promise. Nak letak kat luar rumah tak sampai hati. Nanti ada stray cats buat rumah ni jadik rumah singgah pulak. Rumah ni kecik je.. nasib la muat` untuk letak giant cage tu kat dalam rumah.. :D


Puas sudah hatiku yang gundah-gulana selama ni memikirkan hal nih dah berbulan-bulan. Since bela Timtim on May 2010 and Tammy on July 2010. ^---^

Actually, I read an entry from Hunny's blog on Cats and Pregnancy. She has two cats, Spike and Lulu. And she's expecting too. Tengah menghitung detik nak deliver. Good luck darling. When talking about this topic, I prefer to have a talk with people who are in the same boat with me and not letting me sink and drawn. Sebab I nak tau, mesti diorang aware jugak pasal this issue and I wanted to know how they overcome this thing. :D


In the meantime, I pun baca banyak articles, and the solution is still the same. Get rid of them? Well..it's the last thing in my mind. Please oh please. You will never know. Torn between two. If you are not having any cats, not love them..don't have any chemistry with them..it's easy for you to say -- Kalau sayang baby buang jela kucing tu. Takkan nak buang, I beli mahal okeh.

Even my sis in law once told me ada keluar artikel kat Reader's Digest regarding this topic. Of course, the negative side of having cats while you're pregnant. At that time, I was so sad..coz I do not know what to do. Actually, since before I'm pregnant, people always talk about this issue when they know I have cats staying with me. Pasal kalau bela kucing susah nak pregnant tu. No offend..kalau orang tak citer, I pun tatau..at least I learnt new things, rite. :D

1. Human Pregnancy, Babies and Your Cat


Because toxoplasmosis can cause birth defects in children, pregnant women sometimes assume that they must get rid of their cat. This is entirely unnecessary, as a few simple measures will thoroughly safeguard against catching the disease, especially from your cat. Toxoplasmosis is a disease caused by a parasite that can infect your cat if she eats prey already harboring the parasite or comes into contact with contaminated soil. Toxoplasmosis is rare among indoor-only cats.


2. The Human Risks and Pet Cats


Most humans are not infected because of exposure to Toxoplasma organisms in the soil, litterpan or other source of exposure cat stools. Most humans are infected by eating undercooked meat, especially pork and lamb. Cats actually acquire the infection from eating raw prey most commonly, too. Toxoplasmosis is much more likely to occur in outdoor cats as it is transmitted to the cat through hunting of small animals.


3. Sensible Precautions for Cat Owners

All in all, the risk of acquiring T. gondii from a house cat is rather low. That being said, the CDC suggests the following precautions in order to almost entirely eliminate your risk of cat-borne toxoplasmosis:

• Get someone else to change the cat litter if you can, and if you can't, wear gloves and wash your hands carefully after changing the box.
• Change cat litter daily; T. gondii are infectious between 1 and 5 days after the cat defecates
• Do not feed your cat raw meat, and keep your cat indoors.
• Be careful around stray cats and kittens, and avoid getting a new cat while pregnant.
• Keep outdoor sandboxes covered, and wear gloves when gardening in case an outdoor cat has defecated in your garden.

I clean the litterbox twice daily and immediately sanitize my hands after that. I used mask when dealing with that stuffs. Timtim and Tammy only eat dry foods. I rarely gave them wet foods like tuna chunks, etc. Sebabnye I malas. Lagipun I pernah consult ngan Vet, they said dry foods is sufficient enuff for cats well-being. Wet foods tu macam jajan je bagi kat diorang. Huhu. Gemok je kan kucing I.
